Cape Towns official fan parks during the 2010 Soccer World Cup include Grand Parade in front of the City Hall, the covered all-weather venue Bellville Velodrome, and the Athlone Stadium.

Cape Town will have a unique “fan Mile” which stretches from the station through Riebeeck Street & Somerset Road all the way to the Green Point Stadium.

Both Gansbaai and Plettenberg Bay are being considered as possible towns to have fan parks outside of Cape Town

Other Places that will no doubt have a vibe

Long Street as a whole will become the focal point of a lot of fan activity and festivity, places to check out here include the Daddy Cool Bar at the The Grand Daddy Hotel< as well as Boo Radleys Bar<. Areas around Sea Point will no doubt have a good vibe because of the proximity to the stadium.

All in all Cape Town looks set to welcome the party to the mother city, and the streets of Cape Town will no doubt have some stories to tell when the tournament is finished.
